Dear FANA Families,
We have just finished another amazing year supporting FANA. We have successfully finished running our 30th Annual Golf Tournament, and our 2nd Annual Fun Run. Both of these events are increasingly important to provide the necessary funding to support key programs at FANA and also help support local programs in WNY.
Each year FANA is presented with new challenges which should be considered as new opportunities for our organization. This year, FANA has been requested by the Colombian Government to expand their ability to care for an increased number of children on a sustainable basis. To accomplish this request FANA must increase their annual operating budget by $40,000. The Colombian children rely on each of us so very much. FANA needs our support to help keep the doors open and secure the welfare of the children at FANA, and those awaiting an invitation to a new forever home. We have an extraordinary opportunity to help grow FANA, and work more closely in partnership with the Colombian Government.
Maybe you have been involved for decades, maybe you have fallen away for a bit and want to get back into the organization and aren’t quite sure how. Maybe you were adopted through FANA and are in a position to become a member on your own for the first time. No matter who you are and where you are, we need your help. Joining as a member is the first step to giving the children of FANA the chance at having a family of their own. FANA will always face new challenges which is why we need your continued support.
Please participate in our Annual Membership Drive formerly known as Write A Check. This program ensures your membership within our organization, and is another way to contribute to FANA. In addition to supporting FANA your membership also ensures participation of you and your family in all WNY Families of FANA programs and events.
The Annual minimum for a family membership to WNY Families of FANA is $100. Donations are accepted through our online link at https://familiesoffana.ejoinme.org/AMD2019 , or by mailing a check with attached form to WNY Families of FANA, 1048 Niagara Street | Buffalo, New York 14213. Tax return receipts will be provided for both methods of donation.
