MISSION

Through the volunteer efforts of our members, we will reliably support FANA of Bogotá and charities dedicated to children in our communities. We will meet the needs of our families from the beginning of the adoption process, through the adolescent years of our children, and beyond. We will offer our children education and experiences to help them connect with the culture of Colombia. All of our members will have the opportunity to participate and give back, for this will truly allow our organization to be self-perpetuating and self-sustaining.

Did you know FANA in Bogota Colombia provides the following services:

  • Comprehensive protection program for boys and girls 0 to 13
  • Adoption Program
  • Center for the Family’s Comprehensive Development
  • Attention to Pregnant Women
  • Through FANA, thousands of children have found loving, permanent homes. Many other children have received temporary care, including nutrition, shelter, clothing, medical and dental care, and schooling before returning to their birth families.

Did you know FANA in WNY, Rochester, Pennsylvania, and Ontario provide:

  • Adoption and educational services to families who have completed or are in the process of adoption.
  • Year round community events to engage our adopted families
  • A Colombian Heritage week where adopted children spend a full week in camp learning about Hispanic culture, food, music, and history.
  • Donations back to other communities groups that share FANA’s mission
