Dear Friend of FANA:
Families of FANA, WNY will host its 31st Annual Golf Classic on Monday, September 21st at Wanakah Country Club located in Hamburg, New York. Each year this event features a great afternoon of golf followed by a dinner that includes a traditional live auction, silent auction and basket raffle. We are writing to request your assistance and support in making this a great event for our local and global communities.
Please join other notable community supporters by donating items such as gift certificates, custom gift baskets, sports memorabilia, children’s toys, household items, tickets to local events, memberships, etc.
All contributions made to Families of FANA, WNY help to provide a great deal of support, including:
· Monetary funding to over 20 local and regional children-focused non-for-profit organizations on a yearly basis.
· Helps with the promotion of social and cultural connections for families from Western New York, Ontario, and Pennsylvania to foster our children’s appreciation and understanding of Colombian Culture.
· Provides direct support to FANA (the Spanish acronym for the Foundation for the Assistance of Abandoned Children), a private orphanage located in Bogotá, Colombia.
For over 48 years, FANA Bogotá has worked to improve the lives of countless children in need of housing, food and daily nutritional guidance, clothing, health and education services, recreation, and ensuring they receive adequate social and psychological care. FANA’s dedication has allowed more than 14,000 children to find their forever homes and welcoming families through adoption. It is through FANA that these children can know love and care and uncover the possibility of a better future. This need is required seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Your support directly impacts these children.
