Dear FANA Family,
This year was the 45th Anniversary of FANA. In August, many of our own FANA kids were able to go back and see their first home and experience what FANA does for so many children. I can’t imagine what it would be like for our kids to not have the opportunity to go back and feel and see their very first home. It was a moving experience for everyone involved and a motivating experience for all of us to renew our membership in Families of FANA of WNY.
Well, it’s that time of year again where we fulfill our obligation to FANA. The children rely on us so very much. FANA needs our support to help keep the doors open and secure the welfare of the first home of our children. This year more than ever we need to support us. It has become increasingly difficult to reach our fundraising goals each year.
Maybe you have been involved for decades, maybe you have fallen away for a bit and want to get back into the organization and aren’t quite sure how. Maybe you were adopted through FANA and are in a position to become a member on your own for the first time. No matter who you are and where you are, we need your help. Joining as a member is the first step to giving the children of FANA the chance at having a family of their own. We would love to have you with us. Our challenges are always there, but we do not want to face them without you on our side.
The annual suggested minimum for a family membership to FANA is still only $100. A “FANA Kid” may become a full voting member at the age of 18. Members who range in age from 18-25 may contribute a minimum of $50. You continue to be a part of a remarkable organization that never fails to meet its challenges! Please consider surpassing your normal membership donation, your support will go a long way.
